In 2018, a team of engineers with over 20 years of experience in electronic drums sought to break free from conventional constraints and create a drum kit that delivers the truest playing experience possible. The EFNOTE EST7 combines full-scale shells, realistic cymbals, and brilliantly remastered Tru-Aco™ sounds to give drummers an exhilarating, immersive performance. With the A+C+D package, all essential hardware is included for setup—bass drum pedal, drum throne, sticks, hi-hat stand, snare stand, and two cymbal stands (DW pedals shown are for example only and not included).

The EST7 features a 20 x 15" kick drum, 14 x 5.5" snare, 11 x 8" rack tom, and 15 x 15" floor tom, all with 6-ply birch shells and dual-layer mesh heads. Cymbals include 14” hi-hat, 20” ride, and 16” crash, Tru-Motion technology, and weight simulation for realistic rebound. Advanced ELISE sensing captures every nuance, from soft ghost notes to hard hits, and stroke analysis helps refine technique. Tru-Aco stereo sampling ensures natural acoustic sound with minimal processing.

The low-profile touchscreen module allows intuitive control over kit selection, sound editing, and setup adjustments. Flexible I/O includes USB 8-channel audio (ASIO), USB 2-channel input, 4 analog outputs, MIDI in/out, 5-pin DIN, and Bluetooth audio/MIDI. Additional features include multi-function metronome, rhythm box with 90+ beats, on-board 15-song recording, stroke analyzer, pad tuning/muffling/EQ, sound layering, reverb, and setlist management for live performance. The EST7 is fully expandable with optional components, giving drummers complete freedom to create their customized setup.
