The 1957 SJ-200 Reissue features all-solid construction, including a thermally aged solid Sitka spruce top reinforced with scalloped X-bracing, and solid figured maple back and sides. The guitarās multi-ply top and back binding, two-piece flame maple neck with walnut stringer, and C-profile neck shape combine classic style with modern playability. The neck is joined to the body with a glued-in compound dovetail joint, ensuring solid stability and resonance.
The bound Indian rosewood fretboard is fitted with 20 standard frets and elegant mother-of-pearl graduated Crown inlays. The rosewood SJ-200 open two-bar Moustache⢠bridge includes mother-of-pearl inlays, bone bridge pins, and a compensated bone saddle for precise intonation.
