Ernie Ball Nickel Wound Electric Guitar Strings are made from nickel-plated steel wire wrapped around a tin-plated hex-shaped steel core wire. The plain strings are made of specially tempered tin plated high carbon steel producing a well-balanced tone that compliments all guitar types and playing styles. This set is optimized for longer scale lengths and multiscale instruments. All strings are 40” long and the .074 has a 37” taper.
