EVH® challenges the “norm” with the Limited Edition SA-126 Special, Wolfgang Van Halen’s interpretation of what a modern guitar should be in the 21st century. Presented in the stunning Satin Shell Pink finish, the SA-126 is the very definition of innovation incarnate. It’s a visionary hybrid between semi-hollow and solid body guitar design, striking the perfect balance between pummeling rhythm tones and lightning-fast lead runs.

The EVH SA-126 Special is a truly versatile instrument, created in collaboration with Wolfgang Van Halen for ultimate performance. It combines the resonant qualities of a chambered body with the stability of a solid-body guitar, featuring a Mahogany body that is chambered with an added basswood centerblock for stability and enhanced tone. The body is capped with a maple top and features elegant 5-ply binding, ensuring this guitar truly "emits TONE."

The neck is built for high performance and lightning-fast lead runs. It features a comfortable 24 and three quarters inch scale length and a graphite-reinforced mahogany neck with a slim profile. The ebony fingerboard has a compound radius of 12"-16" and 22 jumbo frets, ensuring effortless playability in any range. Adjustments are simple and quick thanks to a convenient spoke wheel truss rod adjustment at the butt end of the neck.

The heart of the SA-126's versatile sound lies in its custom EVH SA-126 bridge and neck pickups. Created by Fender’s resident pickup designer Tim Shaw and the EVH team, these pickups can handle anything from elegant, cascading-glassy cleans to a heavy bath of Overdrive that will satisfy the most discerning gainiac. Controls include a three-way toggle at the upper horn, two volumes, and two tones to control each pickup independently.

This Limited Edition instrument features a Harmonica bridge and stop bar tailpiece, oversized strap buttons, and keystone tuning pegs. The guitar is presented in a dedicated hardshell case wrapped in ivory vinyl with a luxurious blue crushed velvet interior.
