When Ibanez shocked the world and released the first 7-string electric guitar 30 years ago, little did anyone realize then just how much the instrument would change guitar-driven music forever. Korn were arguably the first musical act to take these instruments and realize their full sonic potential, shaping a sound that would be responsible for creating whole new movement in music. Korn and Ibanez designed the K7 signature model in the early 2000s, creating an instrument that was able to match Korn’s unparalleled uniqueness.
