This model features PRS’s new DMO (Dynamic, Musical, Open) treble and bass pickups, personally designed by Paul Reed Smith and the PRS New Products Engineering team. These pickups offer a wide-open sound with vocal-like character across the tonal spectrum, ensuring clarity, balance, and expressiveness in every note. Coupled with the LR Baggs/PRS piezo system, the Custom 24 Piezo delivers nearly infinite tonal options—from shimmering acoustic textures to powerful electric tones, or a blend of both.

Control comes via a 5-way blade switch for the magnetic pickups, along with a 3-way selector and blend knob to manage the piezo system. Dual output jacks allow players to run electric and acoustic signals separately, or blend them into a single output for ultimate flexibility.
